Sten Hostfalt is a New York City based Internationally acclaimed musician,
composer, bandleader and veteran educator. With academic credentials, awards,
honors, degrees, faculty positions and continuous invitations for lectures, workshops
and
clinics.
From leading European and American music institutions. Notably prepared
through early beginnings as a self-taught young musician seeking out his own ways
to
gather knowledge. On the bandstand and in the classroom. From
legendary as well
as lesser-known great teachers. From some of the world's most
innovative musicians, and
from skilled amateur players. And
perhaps most of all, from countless fantastic, creative,
and inquisitve students with lots and
lots
of musical questions, waiting to be answered.
